Hunter Advisers can become involved from the earliest stages of fund launches through to a long term advisory role within the end vehicle.
Hunter's extensive experience of launching, managing and investing in funds allows the business to advise on the success probabilities of a planned product. This includes assessing the prospective returns, ensuring that the manager will meet the strict requirements of the investor base and offering views on where this product will fit with the risk profiles of the target sources of equity.
Hunter Advisers works with the philosophy that a successful property fund is one which is good both for the investors and for the promoter. Culling misguided ideas at an early stage can save significant abortive expenditure.
When the fund concept is sufficiently evolved, Hunter plays a key co-ordinating role, working with Lawyers and Accountants to develop the fund structure.
The structure, and the key professionals, will be chosen dependent on the location of the properties and the anticipated tax status of the investors.
At this stage, if required, Hunter will lead preliminary marketing to selected investors.
Once the fund documentation is prepared, Hunter will work with the Management Team in preparing marketing presentations and will, if required, participate in roadshows supporting the management.
Where it is seen to assist with the credibility of the fund and the raising of capital, Hunter is prepared to take a longer term role, either as a Fund Adviser or on the Investment Committee, allowing investors in the fund the benefit of ongoing access to Hunter's experience and skill.
