Hunter links with Savills on Cordea

 

Former Aberdeen and RREEF fund manager David Hunter has linked with Savills to work as a consultant advising on the agency's fund management interests.

Hunter, who is the head of Glasgow-based consultancy firm Hunter Advisors, will advise on Savills' interest in Cordea Savills, the international fund management business with €3bn of assets. Savills owns 60% of the business, and the management owns the remainder.

"This is a time of great challenges and opportunities in fund management and I look forward to assisting Savills in this area," Hunter said. "Cordea has a wide product range and investor base and is in a good position to take advantage of current opportunities to grow."
