David Hunter to advise Savills

David Hunter, Managing Director of Hunter Advisers, has been appointed as an adviser to Savills on its fund management interests, particularly in relation to Cordea Savills, the international fund management business.

Cordea Savills is jointly owned by Savills and Cordea's management team.

Savills' Chief Executive, Jeremy Helsby, commented: "We are delighted to have secured David's services as an adviser. His broad experience in fund management will be of great benefit to the business."

Hunter, whose recent roles have included leading the management reorganisation of Treveria, the AIM listed German retail fund, said "This is a time of great challenges and opportunities in fund management and I look forward to assisting Savills in this area. Cordea has a wide product range and investor base and is in a good position to take advantage of current market opportunities to grow."

David Hunter established Hunter Advisers in 2005 following a long career as a leading UK and international property fund manager, latterly as CEO of Arlington Property Investors.
